Several TNA stars have been making an impact in the business lately, with Joe Hendry being a notable standout. His appearances on NXT television significantly boosted his reputation and it appears a special agreement between WWE and TNA has allowed him to get full-time training at the Performance Center.

TNA star Joe Hendry has been making waves with his involvement in the crossover between NXT and TNA. Recently, he performed a live concert on the July 30th episode of NXT, pointing out the ongoing collaboration between the two wrestling promotions.

While speaking in an interview with Matt Camp on The Wrestling Matt, Hendry opened up about the groundbreaking nature of this collaboration. He explained that it allows him to appear as a contracted talent for TNA while also making appearances on NXT, training full-time at the WWE Performance Center, and participating in indie shows and signings. Hendry emphasized that such a partnership is unprecedented in the wrestling industry and expressed his gratitude to both TNA and WWE for making it possible.

“I’m in a situation where we’re having historic collaboration between TNA Wrestling and WWE. We’re in a situation where TNA Wresting have worked it out with WWE where I can appear on TNA Wrestling as a contracted talent, I can appear on NXT, and I can train at the Performance Center full-time and do indies and do signings. This is unprecedented. It’s never been done before in the business. So thank you to TNA and WWE for figuring it out.”

Hendry also talked about his commitment to improving his skills and his dedication to continuous development. He pointed out that his training at the Performance Center is part of his effort to build on his existing abilities. Hendry expressed his appreciation for the opportunity provided by TNA Wrestling and his positive collaboration with management, stating that they are positioning themselves to achieve significant milestones for TNA.

“I have no ego when it comes to getting better. That’s why I’m training at the Performance Center. I’m never just gonna rest the skills that I’ve got. I’m always trying to build to something more. I’m very grateful to TNA Wrestling for giving me the opportunity to do that. I think I’m collaborating really well with management, and I think we’re putting ourselves in a position to do historic business for TNA.”

Joe Coffey is set to square off against Joe Hendry in a singles match during NXT Great American Bash Week 2, so we’ll have to wait and see if Hendry will be able to get some measure of revenge next week.
