The rise of Liv Morgan as one of the top WWE female competitors began with her return back in 2019 as a singles competitor in a new look.
The night she returned to Monday Night RAW, Morgan was seen interrupting the wedding ceremony of former WWE superstar Lana and Bobby Lashley. Lana had betrayed her real-life husband, Rusev and aligned herself with The Almighty.
However, just as they were about to complete their vows, Liv Morgan interrupted them, objecting to the wedding and openly professed her love for Lana, leaving much of the audience shocked. In fact, Morgan proudly gloats about this incident in her Twitter bio to this day, making a reference to it.
“Once objected a wedding.”
While the storyline was dropped without any meaningful development, Liv Morgan went on to become a top-tier WWE superstar and is the reigning WWE Women’s World Champion on RAW today.
Moreover, Liv Morgan is set to defend her title against her arch-rival, Rhea Ripley, at WWE’s upcoming PLE, SummerSlam. While her career has touched unprecedented heights today, Morgan objecting to Lana and Lashley’s wedding will forever be a memorable moment of her career.
