AEW is gearing up for All In at Wembley Stadium, and there are a lot of big matches planned for the show. During AEW Dynamite on July 31, one competitor took some time to hype their own marquee match.
Bryan Danielson is set to take on Swerve Strickland at All In on August 25, and he has a lot of intrigue concerning his contract status. The American Dragon’s deal is wrapping up on his full-time career, and he also has a huge title match on the horizon. He confirmed this on Dynamite this week.
Danielson took to the screen during the second hour of Dynamite this week. As he got in the ring, fans in South Carolina gave him an amazing reaction. Bryan then spoke about how he took his engagement photos with Brie Garcia in the city years ago, and how he cherishes the good old days.
Bryan Danielson spoke about “being present.” He then said that he promised his daughter when she was 7 that he would quit wrestling full-time. He also promised that his AEW contract would be the last one he signed, and that deal is up on August 1. He still promised the fans that he would give them everything.
The Bearded GOAT also stated that he promised to win the AEW World Championship. He then made his intention very clear that he will win the title, and he also made it very clear that his match against Swerve Strickland at All In will be his last shot.
We will have to see how present Bryan Danielson is in Wembley Stadium on August 25. He made a promise to fans that he will go “All In” during the show, just as Strickland interrupted his promo.
Swerve Strickland gave Bryan Danielson his flowers to start off his portion of the segment, but then he brought up how he won the AEW World Championship, and that’s what he did. He said that Bryan couldn’t handle it when people started kicking back after he promised to kick everyone’s head in. Then, Strickland said that the AEW World Championship is not an achievement award. Then they made the stipulation of the match, as it will be a Career vs Title match, which was another promise Danielson made to shock the crowd.
