Adam Cole’s ankle injury at AEW Grand Slam last year, which caused fractures in three different places, has significantly affected his wrestling plans. Although it’s still unclear when he will make his return, he recently sent out a cryptic message during his time away.

Although Adam Cole has been out of action, he has made a few notable TV appearances. At AEW World’s End in December, he executed major heel turn against MJF, which led to the formation of The Undisputed Kingdom alongside Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Roderick Strong, and Wardlow.

Cole’s most recent TV appearance was at AEW Double or Nothing in May, where he gave an in-ring promo that triggered MJF’s return from injury. MJF attacked Cole during this segment. With MJF’s subsequent heel turn a month later, the status of Cole’s future rivalry with him remains unclear.

The Undisputed Kingdom leader took to Twitter and uploaded a post featuring J. Cole’s ‘Pride Is The Devil’ song, while he wondered if he would have anything or if he would be destroyed.

We’ve also reported that Adam Cole’s return to the ring has been delayed due to the severity of his injury. We’ll need to wait and see what happens with Cole, as it may still be some time before he makes his comeback.
