Earlier this year, the unexpected releases of several superstars from the AEW roster shocked quite a few fans for good reason. This included Jose the Assistant and now it appears he is in Orlando ahead of NXT’s Great American Bash event tonight.
During his time with Tony Khan’s promotion, Jose the Assistant managed La Facción Ingobernable and worked with talents like Andrade and Rush. Although he had been with the company since 2021, he was released in April of this year.
Earlier this week, Jose the Assistant dropped a massive tease about his next pro wrestling venture, as he teased making his way to NXT soon but fans didn’t know how soon that would be.
Jose the Assistant took to Twitter today and tweeted that he is currently in Orlando and stated that the weather in Orland is very nice today. It is to be noted that NXT Great American Bash will also be taking place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida tonight.
With Stephanie Vaquer having already made her in-ring debut in WWE this month, perhaps fans might get to see Jose the Assistant being paired up with Vaquer, serving as her manager, since Vaquer will be debuting in NXT. We’ll have to see what happens to Jose the Assistant in the end.
