Maria Kanellis Set to Undergo Retroperitoneoscopic Adrenalectomy Treatment

Maria Kanellis, who is currently a part of the AEW and ROH, recently revealed she is facing a significant health crisis. Last year, Kanellis even underwent successful thyroid surgery.

Unfortunately, Maria’s health has continued to decline over the past year, contributing to her infrequent appearances on AEW and ROH. She has expressed dissatisfaction with her limited role on ROH television, citing ongoing health issues.

Maria also stated that six months ago, she requested tests for her adrenal glands and hormone levels due to troubling symptoms. However, her insurance denied the tests. Recently, a mass was discovered during another test, leading to a CT scan to determine if it was on her kidney or adrenal gland.

Maria Kanellis once again took to her X to inform her fans that she saw her doctor today, with the next steps being blood work and a 24-hour urine test in her treatment. Furthermore, Kanellis announced that she will undergo a Retroperitoneoscopic Adrenalectomy treatment, most likely in September.

“I went to my doctor’s appointment today at Rush. The next steps are blood work and a possible 24 hour urine test. From there I will be scheduling surgery for most likely some time in September. The mass I have is borderline what they get concerned about and biopsy is not an option. I will be having a retroperitoneoscopic andrenalectomy and they will biopsy the mass after.”

Maria Kanellis is known to defy odds her entire wrestling career, and being the fighter she is, the wrestling world remains positive that she would come out stronger from her ongoing health issues.
