WWE brought the go-home episode of RAW before SummerSlam on July 29, and it was a packed show. Karrion Kross continued his quest for dominance on the red brand, picking up a win over Xavier Woods. In the process, he also made a comment about Kofi Kingston, who is currently sidelined with an arm injury.

Despite his injury, Kofi Kingston is still ready to engage in verbal sparring with Karrion Kross. Before facing Xavier Woods on the July 29 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Karrion Kross suggested that Kingston should have retired after losing the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar in six seconds.

Kingston responded on social media, correcting Kross by pointing out that his match with Lesnar during the debut episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX actually lasted eight seconds, not six. Kingston added another jab, saying those eight seconds are still longer than Kross has ever held a championship on the main roster.

“8 seconds, @realKILLERkross, not 6. 8 seconds…which is about 8 seconds longer than you’ve held a title on the main roster.”

Kofi Kingston will return as soon as he can, and he likely has unfinished business with Kross and the Final Testament. The future is uncertain, but Karrion Kross and the Authors of Pain are determined to dominate their opponents in any way possible.

Although the Final Testament isn’t booked for a SummerSlam match, the company will continue their creative direction with the faction throughout the month and beyond. The big question is whether Karrion Kross can achieve the same momentum he once had as NXT Champion under Triple H’s booking.

What do you think about Kofi Kingston’s response to Karrion Kross, and how do you see the future unfolding for Kross and the Final Testament on the main roster? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
