Joe Hendry is making appearances wherever he wants, and he has made that clear recently. He is working with TNA Wrestling under a long-term deal, but he has also appeared at NXT house shows and television shows. This week, during the first week of the Great American Bash, Hendry got a special spotlight on NXT.

Joe Hendry had a special concert segment during NXT this week. The second hour of the special on Syfy kicked off with everyone saying his name.

Hendry had the fans singing his entrance even before he spoke. Sitting in the ring with a guitar, he sang a song about himself and how he ended up in NXT. He claimed that Booker T is the president of his fan club, showing a photo of the five-time World Champion in a kilt.

He then directed his song at Gallus, saying Joe Coffey looks like Dutch Mantel’s son. The chorus told fans to wave their hands if they hate Gallus, who were deported for having bad facial hair.

This segment had fans clapping along and chanting “We Believe.” Hendry started an encore with his famous theme song, but Gallus interrupted and ended the concert. The attacked Hendry and smashed his guitar on the TNA star’s back.

Joe Hendry will also debut with House of Glory. We will see what his run in NXT leads to, but fans are enjoying his journey.
