Giulia’s unexpected debut at NXT Stand & Deliver was a major milestone in her wrestling career. Although she was sidelined with a wrist injury afterwards, she recently returned to the ring. As her time with Marigold Summer Destiny comes to an end, she has now confirmed the date for her final match in Japan before she joins WWE.
Reports indicated that Giulia’s time with Marigold is coming to an end, clearing the path for her move to WWE NXT. An official announcement was expected, with Giulia hinting at a major reveal during an event at Korakuen Hall.
We had then reported that the announcement would likely have been for the date of her final match in Japan before leaving for WWE. During the most recent Marigold event in Korakuen Hall, Giulia finally made her announcement.
Giulia announced that August 19th at Korakuen Hall will mark her final match in Japan. She stated that she has decided to challenge the world of professional wrestling after much contemplation over the years. Giulia also revealed that these will be her final five matches in Japan, starting the countdown to her departure.
“August 19th Korakuen Hall will be my final match in Japan. I’m going to challenge the world of pro-wrestling. This is a decision I took after pondering on after many years. These are my final 5 matches in Japan on this countdown.”
There are hints of Giulia’s first WWE feud, but fans will need to wait and see how she is booked once she makes her full-time transition to NXT. With NXT No Mercy set to take place on September 1st, it is likely Giulia will be making her appearance at the Premium Live Event.
