The Japanese sensation Giulia made her surprise debut at NXT Stand & Deliver, marking a significant milestone in her wrestling career. After being sidelined with a wrist injury, she recently made her return to the ring.
Furthermore, reports indicated that Giulia’s time with Marigold was ending, paving the way for her move to WWE NXT. During a recent event at Korakuen Hall, Giulia officially announced that her final match in Japan would take place on August 19th at Korakuen Hall.
In a recent interview with Tokyo Sports, Giulia stated while it took some time for her, she made the decision to transition to the big leagues and was ready to create a revolution upon her arrival at WWE. Moreover, Giulia also acknowledged herself as an upstart, she set her sights to make herself and Japanese wrestling bigger.
“I made this decision after worrying about it for a long time, so now I have an unshakable determination. I will definitely become big and create a revolution over there in order to do something that no one has done before. I am sure that the audience that was at that venue (of the WWE Japan show) is in Japan. In order to attract those people, I am now in a place where I need to actually work on more specific issues and make improvements. However, I am still too small to make my opinions known, so I will absorb many things over there, and I will definitely make the world a better place. And I will make Japanese women’s wrestling, which I love, bigger.”
Moreover, the hints of Giulia’s first WWE feud are emerging, but fans will have to wait to see how she is booked once she transitions to NXT. With NXT No Mercy scheduled for September 1st, Giulia will likely debut at the Premium Live Event, which would be an enthralling sight for WWE fans to witness after months of eagerly awaiting Giulia’s arrival.
