Finn Balor Shows Off Brutal Aftermath of GUNTHER’s Offense After 7/29 WWE RAW

Finn Balor has seen a lot of success during his time in WWE, which is why he is ready to face anyone who steps up to the plate. He faced off against GUNTHER on RAW this week and now the brutal toll it took on Balor’s body has been revealed.

In the main event of the July 29th edition of Monday Night RAW, Finn Balor squared off against GUNTHER in a highly anticipated matchup. The match began with Finn Balor delivering a few chops to GUNTHER, but GUNTHER quickly responded with a powerful chop of his own and a missile dropkick. Balor then hit a running knee to the side of GUNTHER’s face and followed up with some stomps. GUNTHER countered with a boot to Balor and a bodyslam, placing him in a Boston Crab. Balor managed to reach the bottom rope to break the hold, but GUNTHER placed him on the top rope.

Balor delivered a series of back elbows to GUNTHER, who attempted a suplex. Balor countered with a crossbody, sending GUNTHER crashing to the mat. Balor then hit a clothesline, but GUNTHER retaliated with one of his own. The two men exchanged strikes, and Balor landed a Sling Blade.

Balor followed up with a couple of double stomps to GUNTHER’s midsection and dropkicked him into the corner. Balor climbed to the top rope, aiming for the Coup De Grace, but GUNTHER moved out of the way and applied a Sleeper hold. Balor eventually passed out, ending the match.

WWE took to their official Twitter account and uploaded a couple of photos of Finn Balor right after the match, revealing the aftermath of GUNTHER’s offence. Balor’s chest was beet red and clearly an absolute mess after enduring GUNTHER’s chops.

Damian Priest would get some measure of revenge on Balor’s behalf after the match and he even destroyed GUNTHER after the show went off the air. Regardless, Balor is now aware of how dangerous GUNTHER can be, so he might keep his distance from now on.
