WWE presented the go-home episode of RAW before SummerSlam in St. Paul, Minnesota on July 29. Before the three-hour broadcast started, the live audience witnessed the return of a Superstar who had been out due to injury.

Cruz Del Toro’s return was anticipated this week. He was spotted in St. Paul before the show, and it was later confirmed that he would be involved in in-ring action. Although his match did not occur during RAW, it was taped for a future broadcast.

At the taping, two matches were filmed for the upcoming edition of WWE Main Event. One match featured Ivy Nile facing one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Isla Dawn.

In another match, Cruz Del Toro made his in-ring return. Del Toro had been out of action since WrestleMania, where he last participated in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. After over three months of recovery, he teamed up with his LWO tag team partner, Joaquin Wilde. They faced the Authors of Pain of the Final Testament.
