Roman Reigns Admits He Wanted to ‘Snatch’ Paul Heyman from Brock Lesnar for Many Years

Roman Reigns has not been seen on WWE television since his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, and Paul Heyman had to suffer as a result of his absence. With that said, Roman Reigns has now admitted that he wanted to steal Paul Heyman from Brock Lesnar for several years.

Brock Lesnar has been absent from the ring for a while, and his recent run was notably lacking an important component: Paul Heyman. Heyman, who has been a constant presence in Lesnar’s career, only started working with Roman Reigns for the past four years. This marked the first time since Heyman’s betrayal of Lesnar for The Big Show that Lesnar has had to navigate without his longtime advocate.

In the A&E Biography: WWE Legends episode focusing on Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns reflected on observing the dynamic between Brock Lesnar and Heyman over the years, especially during his own feuds with Lesnar.

Reigns noted that their powerful partnership inspired him, and he aimed to emulate their success as he admitted he wants to steal Paul Heyman from Brock Lesnar for many years. Although Reigns and Lesnar first clashed at WrestleMania 31, it wasn’t until five years later that Reigns and Heyman would unite as The Bloodline, a plan that had been in the works for some time.

“Watching how Paul and Brock were maneuvering at the time, it was a powerful duo, it really was. So much so, I had to snatch it.“

We have also reported Roman Reigns’ WWE return status as we head towards Summerlam. Regardless, it’s certain that Roman Reigns will return with Paul Heyman whenever he comes back and fans simply can’t wait for that to happen.
