Ric Flair has waged many battles throughout his years in the pro wrestling business, but his final contest was not pretty. He can attest to many men falling at his feet in defeat, but now he has his eyes set on a new foe. Ben Stiller’s iconic Zoolander character stands out in Flair’s mind as someone he wants to target next, which shows that The Nature Boy has come at pretty much everyone else he can.

The comedy film Zoolander centers on a male model named Derek Zoolander, played by Ben Stiller. Among Zoolander’s famous poses is a look called Blue Steel. It involves pursed lips and sucked-in cheeks made with the eyes fixed on the camera. This is something that Ric Flair knows all too well, but it’s not a look that’s new to the 16x World Champion.

Ric Flair tweeted out a side-by-side comparison of himself and Derek Zoolander. This was amusing by itself, but the caption really sent it over the top as Flair proceeded to call out the famous comedy character for jacking his look.

“The Original Blue Steel. Naitch Was First! WOOOOO!”

Only time will tell if Ric Flair finds his way back to WWE. The controversy that came out after the Plane Ride From Hell episode of Dark Side of the Ring has subsided. He left AEW after his deal ran up, so we’ll have to see if Triple H can find a place for him in the company.

Ric Flair is not slowing down, even in his age. At 75-years-old, Flair is still styling and profiling. He’s not down to take bumps in the ring anymore, but he’s always up for a good endorsement deal.

What’s your take on Ric Flair’s future? Does he need to go back to WWE to stay in the public eye? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
