First-Time-Ever Match Confirmed for 7/31 AEW Dynamite

AEW is coming off an incredibly well-received edition of Dynamite last week, as it was the Blood & Guts edition of the show. It appears the company is now trying to keep the momentum going by confirming a first-time-ever match for this week’s show.

The July 31st episode will take place at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina and there are a ton of things fans can look forward to throughout the night.

Tony Khan took to Twitter to announce that ‘Hangman’ Adam Page will face Darby Allin on the July 31st episode of AEW Dynamite, marking their first singles match against each other.

”This Wednesday, July 31 @BSWArena Greenville, SC Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite On TBS at 8pm ET/7pm CT! Hangman Page vs @DarbyAllin After their sides went to war last Wednesday in Blood And Guts, Hangman Adam Page fights Darby Allin for the first time ever on TBS this Wednesday!”

The two competitors previously clashed as opponents in the Blood & Guts match on the July 24th episode of AEW Dynamite. In that bout, Allin helped lead Team AEW (Allin, Swerve Strickland, The Acclaimed, and Mark Briscoe) to victory over The Elite (The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, and Jack Perry) along with Hangman Page. Therefore, we will have to wait and see who will prevail in this highly anticipated matchup.
