WWE took a Supershow tour to Japan over the weekend, and fans in the country were more than excited to see their first action from the company since the pandemic. There was also a special main event in store for fans, as three men with a lot of history in Japan collided in a triple threat match for the Undisputed WWE Title.
Cody Rhodes once held the IWGP United States Championship. He was also a part of the era of NJPW that Gabe Kidd recently called out for making the company weak. The American Nightmare is anything but weak during this WWE run, as he is Undisputed WWE Champion. He took on AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura in the main event match, and both of his challengers once held the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
Fans all over the world don’t typically get to see everything that goes down at live events. Thankfully, one fan in Tokyo was filming the entire match during the July 27 show, and now we have it online. This main event match certainly got the crowd going in a big way.
Thanks to a YouTube account called “Triple H,” fans in America and the rest of the world can see what went down between Cody, AJ, and Shinsuke. The video is over 36 minutes long, and it includes everything that fans saw during the main event in Tokyo.
You can watch the whole match below, but you’d better do it fast, since WWE has a history of coming at videos like this. After all, they announce before each show that videotaping is forbidden for a reason. Either way, the video offers a pretty good vantage point of the action in the squared circle.
In the end, Shinsuke Nakamura took the pinfall in the match to Cody Rhodes as The American Nightmare retained his title. The video keeps going after the match, as Cody Rhodes addressed the crowd. Then Shinsuke Nakamura got a special moment for the fans as they played his music as well. That’s not all this account uploaded, because every match on the card is also available for the world to see.
The same YouTube account also uploaded full matches for Damian Priest vs Jey Uso, Bayley vs Meiko Satomura, and the rest of the show as well. You may check out the videos they uploaded below, including the opening match of LA Knight vs GUNTHER.
You can check out the videos below. We will have to see if any more newsworthy bootlegs surface in the months to come, but this video is certainly worth watching for any fan who wanted to know exactly what it was like for those WWE Superstars in Japan.
