Jim Ross is a veteran in the pro wrestling world, as he made a name for himself as a commentator in WWE. He worked very hard during his time with the company, but Vince McMahon never saw him in the best light. Now it appears Ross has explained why McMahon was always impatient.

Ross worked in WWE for several years, which is why he knows the inner workings of the company. He has extensively worked with Vince McMahon and it has not always worked out in his favor as he has been the subject of ridicule numerous times.

While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Ross’ co-host Conrad Thompson talked about the time Ross returned to WWE back in 1994 and how right after that he had a Bells Palsy attack, mentioning how Jim Ross wrote in his book that Vince McMahon decided to move on from him after he suffered the attack, as it was an unsatisfactory situation for McMahon.

‘His words to me were very simple. I’m changing my plans and you aren’t in them. My contract wasn’t up for another four months or so. I said ”When are you letting me go?” ”Now. Today,” Vince replied. I constantly wiped my eye and mouth because of my attack. I said, ”Well, what about my contract? I don’t understand you letting me go without notice.” Vince hesitated in the answer.’

Jim Ross explained that he understood the situation well. He noted that Vince McMahon, known for his impatience, had something on his mind that he needed to address and then move on from. Ross realized that this meant there was likely a significant consequence waiting for him.

“I knew what that meant. He [Vince McMahon] has no patience. He had something on his mind, pardon me, that he feels compelled to get off his mind and close that little chapter of that day and move on. So I knew that there was a bullet with my name on it awaiting.”

Interestingly enough, Jim Ross also believes the sexual trafficking allegations against Vince McMahon won’t diminish his legacy. Nevertheless, Ross will continue to have a very peculiar relationship with Vince McMahon that may never change no matter what and fans have accepted that fact too.

What do you think of what Jim Ross had to say about Vince McMahon’s impatience towards unsatisfactory situations? Do you feel Jim Ross suffered a lot as a result? Sound off in the comments section below!
