Since leaving AEW last summer, Jade Cargill has quickly risen to prominence in WWE, making her one of the company’s fastest-rising stars.

The “Storm of WWE” has consistently lived up to the hype with standout performances at major events like the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40, as well as on regular WWE programming.

However, during WWE’s recent tour to Japan, Jade Cargill suffered a nasty injury. The former WWE Women’s tag team champion took to her Instagram stories to drop a photo of her forehead with a deep cut with blood marks spilling in the middle of her nose.

The injury is possibly expected to have happened on their final stop in Japan, i.e. the Supershow that took place at the Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo. Cargill and her tag team partner, Bianca Belair competed against Damage CTRL (IYO SKY & Dakota Kai) in a losing effort.

Cargill, alongside Bianca Belair, captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at Backlash and has been dominant ever since. The duo are set to challenge the new titleholders who dethroned them at WWE Clash at the Castle, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn at the upcoming edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
