Giulia’s Anticipated WWE NXT Debut Draws Closer

WWE fans are eagerly awaiting the debut of Giulia, a rising star from Japan, on NXT. As WWE NXT continues to bolster its roster with international talent—most recently signing former CMLL star Stephanie Vaquer—Giulia’s arrival is highly anticipated.

After reportedly signing with WWE in April, Giulia has yet to make her in-ring debut. However, Rossy Ogawa, a prominent figure in the Japanese wrestling scene, recently hinted that her commitments to the Japanese promotion Marigold are coming to an end.

In an interview with Tokyo Sports, Ogawa said:

“It’s true that Giulia doesn’t have that much time (in Japan). I’m not sure how many matches she has left, but it might be best to think of this as the last time you’ll see her at each venue. To be honest, I would like her to stay a little longer. Giulia has been like a leader both inside and outside the ring, so the question is who will take over from there.”

Giulia is expected to join the NXT brand, though the exact timing of her debut remains uncertain. She is anticipated to travel to the US in August, potentially aligning with upcoming NXT events.

Meanwhile, the next two weeks of WWE NXT programming will be airing on the SyFy Channel instead of the USA Network, featuring special events under the banner of the NXT Great American Bash. Night one, on July 30, will include Roxanne Perez defending the NXT Women’s Championship and an in-ring concert by TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry.
