Enzo Amore Wants WWE to Acknowledge His Contributions After Controversial Exit

Enzo Amore and Big Cass were a highly popular tag team during their WWE tenure, but both wrestlers were eventually released from the company for various reasons. Known for his confidence, Amore now seeks recognition from WWE, hoping the company will honor his contributions by including him in their alumni section.

In January 2018, Enzo Amore was abruptly fired from WWE while he was in his second reign as Cruiserweight Champion, following sexual assault allegations. The case was later closed due to insufficient evidence. Since then, the 37-year-old star has competed for promotions such as NJPW and MLW.

Several years have passed since Enzo Amore was fired by WWE due to allegations of sexual assault. Since his release, Amore has been actively competing on the independent circuit and has been earning substantial money.

While speaking in an interview on Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Amore discussed his aspirations for the next few years in professional wrestling. The former Cruiserweight Champion expressed his hope that WWE would recognize his contributions by 2025, ideally by including him in the alumni section. He described this as his “bare minimum” goal, wishing for acknowledgement of his work within WWE’s history.

“My goal, by the time it’s 2025, I hope that you get to sing it along with me and spell it out with me. By the time we look at 2025, I hope that somewhere in the annals of WWE history that I will be recognized once again and join the alumni section, bare minimum. That is my goal.”

Enzo Amore also boldly claimed that he was ready for WrestleMania from day one in WWE and addressed possibly going to AEW. Last year, Enzo Amore also claimed that he could do major ratings with Roman Reigns. Regardless, it remains to be seen if Amore will end up being recognized by WWE eventually.
