In a thrilling showdown at AEW Battle of the Belts XI, Dustin Rhodes teamed up with The Von Erichs (Ross and Marshall Von Erich) to win the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Titles. The trio defeated The Undisputed Kingdom, consisting of Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Roderick Strong, to claim the championship.
The match reached its climax when Dustin Rhodes hit the Final Cut on Mike Bennett, securing the pinfall victory. The bout featured high drama with Maria Kanellis attempting to distract the new champions on behalf of The Undisputed Kingdom. However, Katsuyori Shibata intervened, putting the Claw on Roderick Strong to level the playing field. The action intensified when Kevin Von Erich also got involved, applying the Claw on Matt Taven.
This victory marks the first reign as ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions for Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs, adding a prestigious accolade to their storied careers.
Previously, the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Titles were unified with the AEW Trios Titles at AEW Dynasty, where Bullet Club Gold (Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, and Jay White) defeated Billy Gunn & The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster). However, Bullet Club Gold were stripped of the unified titles on the July 13th episode of AEW Collision due to an injury to Jay White, leading to the titles being vacated and separated again. The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, and Killswitch) subsequently won the AEW Trios Titles on the July 20th episode of AEW Collision.
