WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix was a trailblazer in women’s wrestling, rising to prominence during an era when female wrestlers often lacked spotlight. Now that she is no longer with WWE, her potential AEW debut has become a topic of interest.
Beth Phoenix, a multiple-time women’s champion renowned for her exceptional in-ring skills, was largely inactive as a competitor for a significant period. Her most recent match took place at Elimination Chamber 2023, where she and her husband Adam Copeland defeated Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley.
As reported earlier, Beth Phoenix had parted ways with WWE as her contract had expired, and she was neither re-signed nor offered a legends deal. Beth’s husband Adam Copeland, signed with AEW in October 2023 and Phoenix even contributed the opening line “You Think You Know Him?” to his AEW theme music.
With Copeland now part of AEW, speculation has arisen about whether Phoenix might make an appearance in the promotion. According to Fightful Select, sources suggest that Beth Phoenix is in top shape and could potentially make a wrestling return if she desired. However, while discussions about Phoenix possibly joining AEW have taken place backstage, there was no confirmation if the two sides have had conversations yet.
Regardless, only time will tell what’s next in store for the Glamazon, as she might just go join her husband Adam Copeland soon enough in AEW, something that fans might be happy about.
