It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! AEW Collision will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the July 27, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcoming us. Ring announcer Arkady Aura then introduces “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and he makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night. Johnny TV makes his way down to the ring next.
The match starts off with TV hitting a standing moonsault on Cassidy. Valkyrie then attacks Cassidy at ringside while the referee was distracted. TV then goes to ringside and pulls Cassidy’s arm through the barricade. TV then remains in offensive control and hits a swinging neckbreaker on Cassidy for a two count. Cassidy then hits TV with a rollup for a two count. Cassidy then hits a Stundog Millionaire and a DDT on TV for a near fall. Cassidy then avoids a Starship Pain from TV. Cassidy then goes for a DDT, but it is stopped. TV then hits a neckbreaker on Cassidy and follows it up with a. Starship Pain for a near fall. Cassidy then hit sBeach Break and the Orange Punch for the win.

After the match, TV nails Cassidy’s leg from behind. Valkyrie then hits some kicks at Cassidy. Willow Nightingale then makes her way down to the ring and runs off the heel couple.
We then get highlights of The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Nick Wayne and Killswitch) defeating The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) last week to win the vacant Unified AEW World Trios Titles.
Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn then cuts a backstage promo. Robinson says they don’t cry over spilled milk. Robinson then says Mother Wayne made a mistake spraying him in the eyes with that “aerosol chemical bullcrap” and that they were not done with the Patriarchy. Austin Gunn then says the Patriarchy will have to answer to the Bang Bang Gang. Colton Gunn then says Arlington is their town and that Collision is their show.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a 3-Way Tag Team Match.
The match starts off with Yuta and Lee. Lee takes down Yuta. Yuta runs the ropes and drops kicks Lee. Dante is tagged in. Dante kicks Yuta and then follows up with a cross body. Dante then covers Yuta, but Yuta kicks out at two. Cage is tagged in and Top Flight takes out Cage. Claudio is tagged in and he tries to take out Top Flight, but they double Claudio, sending him to the floor. Yuta is tagged in and Cage tags himself in. Cage then grabs Dante and hits him with a full nelson slam. Dante then tries to escape the hold of Cage. Lee is then tagged in and takes down Dante with a flying knee. Yuta is tagged in, but he is taken out and sent to the floor. Claudio is tagged in and he takes out Cage and Lee with elbows. Claudio then sends Cage to the floor and then slams Lee. Claudio then picks up Lee for the giant swing. Claudio then drops him and calls for the lariat. Darrius then does a blind tag and face plants Lee. Darrius then covers Lee, but Lee kicks out. Lee then rolls up Darrius, but Darius kicks out at two. Darrius then picks up Lee and face plants him again and covers him, but Lee kicks out at two. Claudio and Cage are now in. Claudio and Cage then exchange lariats. Top Flight then come in and take out Claudio, sending him to the floor. Lee then jumps through the middle rope and takes out Top Flight. Claudio then nails Cage with a big elbow. Yuta then drops Darrius hard on the mat and covers him to get the win.

Tony Schiavone then hypes Hologram vs. The Beast Mortos.
We then head to the back, where Lexi Nair is about to interview The Conglomeration (ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly and “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii) when “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Willow Nightingale shows up. Willow speaks about her Battle of the Belts match with Deonna Purrazzo. Briscoe then says they have a new member of The Conglomeration. Briscoe then grabs an infant and cuts his wildman promo, while O’Reilly is tossing the ROH World Title in the air like it was an infant.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Mortos charging at Hologram, but Hologram moves out of the way. Hologram then runs the ropes and takes down Mortos, but Mortos gets back up. Mortos then tries to grab Hologram, but Hologram counters with a pin attempt. Hologram then runs the ropes and Mortos counts with a powerslam and goes for the pin, but only gets a two count. Mortos then picks up Hologram, but Hologram counters and hits Mortos with an elbow. Mortos then comes back and nails Hologram with a big elbow, sending him to the floor. Mortos then heads down to the floor and sends Hologram into the steel steps. Mortos then grabs Hologram and sends him into the guardrail. Mortos then picks up Hologram and rolls him back in the ring. Mortos then stomps on Hologram in the center of the ring.
Mortos then has Hologram in the corner and kicks him. As Mortos goes for another kick, Hologram moves out of the way and takes him down. Mortos then shoves Hologram and both men are up on the top rope. Mortos then grabs Hologram and slams him back first on the mat. Mortos then covers Hologram, but Hologram kicks out at one. Hologram then kicks Mortos in the face. Hologram then kicks Mortos again. Both men are on the apron and Hologram goes for a Canadian Destroyer on Mortos on the ring apron, but does not quite get it and Mortos hits the floor. Hologram then walks the ropes and from the ropes takes down Mortos. Hologram then runs the ropes and jumps through the middle ropes and takes down Mortos on the floor. Mortos then rolls back in the ring. Hologram is up on the top rope and is caught by Mortos, but Hologram counters and drops Mortos. Hologram then covers Mortos, but Mortos kicks out at two. Mortos then picks up Hologram and drops him on his back. Mortos then covers Hologram, but Hologram kicks out at two. Hologram then kicks Mortos and The Beast responds with a chop. Mortos then tries to slam Hologram from the top, but Hologram reverses it, sending Mortos to the mat. Hologram then hits Mortos with a crucifix powerbomb and gets the win.

Tony Schiavone then hypes Thunder Rosa vs. Maya World.
“La Mera Mera” Thunder Rosa makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match and her opponent Maya World is already in the ring.
The match starts off with both women locking up. Maya then hits Rosa with an arm drag. Rosa then puts Maya in an armbar. Maya then rallies back and kicks Rosa in the mid-section. Rosa then rallies back and nails Maya with a drop kick. Maya then slaps Rosa, but it only makes Rosa mad. Rosa then hits Maya with a slap of her own and follows it up with rights and lefts. Rosa then charges at Maya and nails her with forearms and a kick. Rosa then sends Maya to the corner and hits her with a running drop kick. Rosa then chops Maya and nails her with right hands. Rosa then runs the ropes and drops Maya and stomps on Maya with both feet. Rosa then puts Maya in a camel clutch and Maya taps out.

After the match, Thunder Rosa looks in the camera and sends a message to Deonna Purrazzo.
We then get video footage of Will Ospreay vs. Lance Archer from NJPW Dominion 2023. Schiavone then hypes Ospreay vs. Archer for Wednesday’s Dynamite.
We then head to the back, where we see that a bunch of people were laid out. Lance Archer was shown to be the person responsible and he would beat up a few more people. Archer says Ospreay should not be in line for the AEW American Championship. Archer then says he beat Ospreay before in Dallas and he will beat Ospreay’s ass again.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Trios Match. During the entrance of the Premier Athletes, Sterling says he advised his clients to apologize for fat shaming. Ariya Daivari then grabs the mic and calls the fans fat Texas hillbillies.
The match starts off with Kyle O’Reilly and Josh Woods. Kyle kicks Josh and Josh responds by pushes Kyle to the corner. Josh then tags in Tony Nese. Ishii is then tagged in and Kyle and ishii double team Nese. Mark Briscoe then comes in and kicks Nese. Nese then chops Ishii, but it has no effect on him. Ishii then chops Nese and tags in Mark Briscoe. Mark then picks up Nese and drops him. Kyle O’Reilly is then tagged in. As Kyle runs the ropes, Ariya grabs his foot. Mark Briscoe then sets up a chair and jumps over the ropes, taking out the opposition on the floor. Kyle then picks up Ariya and slams him back first. Ishii is then tagged in and Josh Woods is tagged in as well. Ariya is then sent to the floor by Briscoe. Nese is tagged in next as Mark nails him with an elbow. Mark then covers Nese, but only gets a two count. Mark Briscoe is goes for a Jay Driller, but Mark Sterling distracts him and Nese hits Mark Briscoe with a jaw breaker. Josh Woods is then tagged in. Mark then takes out Ariya and sends him to the floor. Woods then hits Mark Briscoe with a lariat. Ishii is in the ring and sends Woods to the floor. Nese then kicks O’Reilly, sending him to the floor. Nese then takes out O’Reilly on the floor. Ishii then takes out Woods and Mark Sterling. Kyle then puts Woods in an armbar and Woods submits.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is talking to FTW Champion “The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho after last Wednesday’s match against Minoru Suzuki. Jericho talks about his broken finger. Jericho then says it will be hard to wave at the branches. Jericho then says he’s not through with Suzuki even though he doesn’t know when their next match will be. Jericho then says The Learning Tree is coming for Shibata, who has no friends left with Samoa Joe and HOOK sidelined.
“The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer tosses a local talent down to the ring and we get the next match of the night.
The match starts off with Archer picking his opponent up and chokeslamming him. Archer then picks him up again and hits him with another chokeslam. Archer then calls for another chokeslam. Archer then picks him up and sets him on the top rope and slaps him. Archer then picks up his opponent and hits him with a wipeout for the win.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Tag Team Match.
The match starts off with Dax and Mansoor. Mansoor takes down Dax. Dax then runs the ropes. Mansoor then hits Dax with a shoulder block. Dax then drops Mansoor, but Mansoor gets up and kicks Dax. Mansoor then showboats and turns around and gets chopped. Cash is tagged in and he hits Mansoor with a flying shoulder block. Madden is tagged in. Madden then slaps Cash and sends him down. Madden then talks trash. Madden then sends Cash down hard and Mansoor is tagged in. Cash tags in and he and Dax and chops Mansoor. Dax then sends Madden to the floor. FTR then goes for the shatter machine and MxM rolls to the floor. The action then spills to the floor and Dax chops Mansoor and sends him back into the ring. Dax then charges at Mansoor, but Mansoor moves and Dax hits the ring post. Mansoor then picks up Dax and tags in Madden. MxM then double teams Dax and Madden hits Dax with a spin kick. Madden is tagged in and he goes for an elbow drop on Dax, but Dax rolls out of the way.
Dax then chops Mansoor. Dax then goes for a tag, but Mansoor holds him back. Mansoor then sends Dax into the corner. Mansoor then kicks Dax in the mid-section. Dax then rolls up Mansoor, but Madden distracts the referee. Mansoor then chops Dax and tags in Madden. MxM then double teams Dax and Madden nails Dax with a hip attack. Madden. then picks up Dax and has him in a bear hug. Dax then bites Madden. Mansoor is tagged in and MxM double team Dax. Mansoor then covers Dax, but Dax kicks out at two. Dax then makes the tag to Cash. Cash then nails Madden and takes down Mansoor. Cash then slaps Madden in the back. Mansoor then kicks Cash, but Cash recovers and he picks up Mansoor and drops him. Cash then covers Mansoor, but Madden breaks the three count. Madden is then sent to the floor. Mansoor then rolls up Cash, but Cash kicks out at two. Cash then sends Mansoor face first to the top turnbuckle. Mansoor then rolls up Cash, but Cash kicks out at two. Cash then runs the ropes and Dax does a blind tag. Mansoor is then hit with a shatter machine and Dax covers Mansoor for the win.

After the match, Harwood and Wheeler held their index fingers out and then Mansoor and Madden touched just the tips as a sign of respect.
We then get video footage from after the Blood & Guts Match of Max Caster celebrating Team AEW’s win while Anthony Bowens was seated on the floor. Bowens is fired up and yells about how they always deliver for the company. Bowens then says not to underestimate them because they will prove you wrong every single time. Caster then says they have an AEW World Tag Team Title shot and he takes issue with FTR talking about facing the Bucks at Wembley. Caster and Bowens then questions why FTR was not fighting in the cage with them for the company they claim to love. Bowens then says they are coming for the Bucks and the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with both men trying to lock up the other in a submission hold. PAC then sends Rush to the corner. PAC then picks up Lio and slams him down. PAC then picks up Lio once again, but Lio counters the hold and sends PAC to the mat. Rush then runs the ropes as PAC catches him and hits him with a back breaker. PAC then grabs Lio, but Lio counters and kicks PAC. PAC then picks up Lio, but Lio holds onto the top rope. PAC then nails Lio with a punch to the jaw. PAC then sends Rush into the corner. Rush then rallies, but PAC kicks Rush to the side of his head.
PAC then picks up Rush, but Rush escapes the hold. Rush then rallies back, but PAC catches him and drops him hard on his back. PAC then covers Rush, but Rush kicks out at two. PAC is up on the top rope and comes down, but Rush moves. Lio then kicks PAC and both men are down on the mat. Rush then sends PAC into the ring post. Rush then flies between the ropes and sends PAC into the guardrail. Rush then picks up PAC and hits him with a falcon arrow. Rush then covers PAC, but PAC kicks out at two. PAC then comes back and kicks Rush in the mid-section. Rush then hits the turnbuckle. PAC then sets up Rush on the top rope. PAC then goes up, but Rush holds on to the turnbuckle and headbutt’s PAC, sending him to the mat. PAC then picks up Rush and hits him with a German Suplex and goes for a pin, but Rush kicks out at two. PAC then drags Rush to the corner. PAC then climbs to the top rope, but Rush rolls to the center of the ring. PAC then comes down and Rush kicks PAC. Lio then kicks PAC and hits him with a cutter and only gets a two count. Rush is up on the top rope and hits a frog splash, but PAC counters by getting the knees up. PAC then grabs Rush, but Rush reverses it and rolls up PAC for only a two count. PAC then slaps Rush and puts him in the brutalizer and Rush taps out.

After the match, PAC celebrates and stands tall as the show comes to a close.
