AEW Battle Of The Belts XI Results (7/27/2024):

The show opens up with a video package recapping the key moments from AEW Dynamite and the Royal Rampage Match from Friday’s AEW Rampage. Tony Schiavone, Ian Riccaboni and Nigel McGuinness then welcomes us to the show and we get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is an AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match.

AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match: AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Taya Valkyrie

The match starts off with Valkyrie throwing her shades at Storm. Storm then picks up the shades and puts them on. Storm then hits Valkyrie with a Thesz Press and follows it up with punches and a suplex. Storm then hits Valkyrie with a hip attack. Storm then heads to ringside and is tripped into the ring steps. Valkyrie then hits Storm with a double knee strike against the steps. Storm then sends Valkyrie into the barricade and sends her back inside the ring. Valkyrie then trips Storm on the apron. Storm then slaps Taya. Toni then hits a suplex on Taya and only get a two count. Storm then hits Taya with a hip attack. Storm then hits Taya with a DDT and pins her, but Taya kicks out at two. Taya then recovers and kicks Storm. Taya then covers Storm, but Storm kicks out at two. Taya then picks up Storm, but Storm escapes. Taya then picks up Storm again and plants her face first. Taya then covers Storm, but Storm kicks out at two. Taya then puts Storm in a submission hold. Storm then crawls to the ropes, but as she gets closer, Taya stops her. Taya then covers Storm, but Storm gets her foot on the rope. Taya then taunts Storm, but Storm gets up and hits Taya with a storm zero for the win.

The winner of the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match, AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm!

After the match, Storm grabs a mic and says she is still the champ. Storm then says Mariah May was perfect. Storm then says May was all her dreams come to life. Storm then says May was a better her than she was. Storm then says Mariah made one mistake and that is she should have cut her bloody head off.

We then head to the back, where Lexi Nair is interviewing Kip Sabian. Sabian says he lost his father and the last four months has been a roller coaster. Sabian then says the most important thing to him is doing his family proud and being the best wrestler in the company. Sabian then says he could let things with Nick Wayne go, but if Wayne can’t do that then he knows where to find him. Sabian then says he’s back and better than ever.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a CMLL World Women’s Championship Eliminator Match.

CMLL World Women’s Championship Eliminator Match: CMLL World Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale vs. “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo

The match starts off with both women locking up. Deonna then tries to send Willow to the mat, but Willow counters. Willow then picks up Deonna and slams her on the mat. Willow then chops Deonna. Deonna then comes back as both women lock up for a test of strength. Deonna then takes down Willow and attempts to pin her, but Willow kicks out. Willow then picks up Deonna and slams her down. Deonna then runs the ropes, but Willow picks her up, spins her around and slams her down. Deonna then sends Willow to the floor. Deonna then goes after Willow and grabs her left arm and twists it. Deonna then sends Willow back first to the ring apron. Deonna then grabs the left arm of Willow and wraps it around the ring post. Willow then gets back in the ring and Deonna continues to work on the left arm of Willow. Willow then goes down in the corner and Deonna puts a boot to the throat of Willow. Deonna then continues to work on the left arm of Willow.

Willow then sends Deonna to the mat three times in a row. Willow then hits Deonna with a pump kick. Willow then powerbombs Deonna and covers her, but Deonna kicks out at two. Willow then sends Deonna into the corner and suplexes Deonna. Willow then heads to the top, but Deonna pulls her down. Deonna then covers Willow, but Willow kicks out at two. Deonna then tries to pick up Willow, but Willow counters and hits Deonna with a Death Valley Driver. Willow then covers Deonna, but Deonna kicks out at two. Willow then has Deonna in the corner. Deonna then heads up top, but Willow suplexes Deonna. Willow and Deonna then go back and forth with chops. Both women then hit each other with a running lariat. Taya Valkyrie then makes her way down to the ring with a turnbuckle. Taya then holds out the turnbuckle and Thunder Rosa makes her way down to the ring and fights off Taya on the floor. Willow then hits Deonna with a shoulder tackle. Willow then hits Deonna with a Doctor Bomb for the win.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship Match.

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship Match: Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) vs. “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs (Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich)

The match starts off with Strong tossing his elbow pad at Kevin Von Erich. Strong then locks up the arm of Ross, but Ross fights out and drop kicks Strong. Ross then tags in Marshall and drop kicks Strong. Bennett then tags in and chops Marshall. Marshall then comes back and hits Bennett with several hip tosses. Bennett then tags in Taven and Marshall tags in Dustin. Dustin then hits Taven with a lariat. Dustin then tags in Ross. Marshall and Ross then double team Taven. Ross then covers Taven, but Taven kicks out at two. Marshall then charges at Taven and hits him with a lariat in the corner. Taven then recovers and Dustin and The Von Erich’s send The Undisputed Kingdom to the floor. Taven is then tagged in and he hits Ross with a suplex. Taven then covers Ross, but only gets a two count. Taven then puts Ross in a headlock. Taven then slams Ross’ head on the mat. Ross then tries to make a tag, but he is stopped. Bennett is then tagged in and he stops Ross from making a tag and then tags in Strong. Dustin is now up on the apron and Dustin is tagged in. Dustin takes down Bennett and powerslams Strong and Bennett. Dustin then hits Taven with a bulldog and a Canadian Destroyer. Dustin then drops Bennett on his head and covers him, but Taven breaks the count. Strong and Taven then take out The Von Erich’s on the floor. Bennett is then tied up on the ropes, but Taven distracts Dustin. Dustin then charges at Bennett, but is picked up and dropped back first. Strong then hits Dustin with a pump kick. Ross and Marshall then come in and they go to the floor as Strong and Taven take out Ross and Marshall. As Taven and Strong distract the referee, Bennett nails Dustin with a cowbell. Bennett then covers Dustin, but Dustin kicks out. Katsuyori Shibata then makes his way down to the ring and puts the claw on Strong as Kevin puts the claw on Taven. Ross and Marshall then drop Bennett. Dustin then hits Bennett with a discuss lariat for the win.

After the match, streamers are tossed in the ring. Paul Wight then makes his way down to the ring and presents the belts to Dustin and The Von Erich’s. Christopher Daniels and other talents from the back then celebrate with Dustin and The Von Erich’s as the show comes to a close.
