WrestleMania, WWE’s premier event known for its spectacle and worldwide reach, is creating buzz about a potential move to London. London Mayor Sadiq Khan has expressed a keen interest in hosting the event in the UK’s capital. Adding to the excitement, John Cena has supported the idea, stating that London deserves the opportunity to host WrestleMania.
John Cena even showed up at last year’s Money in the Bank in London to make it clear that WrestleMania should take place in the city. We also reported about WWE’s willingness to host WrestleMania in London.
It was also reported that WWE is currently discussing having WrestleMania event take place in London. In fact, even Triple H revealed the reason why WWE is considering London as a host for a future WrestleMania.
John Cena took to Twitter and stated that London and the entire UK have consistently supported WWE through all challenges. He prefers not to use the word “deserve” and instead chooses more fitting terms.
Cena reiterated his belief that London has “EARNED” the opportunity to host WrestleMania. Although he won’t be competing at the event, he confirmed that he will definitely be there as a fan.
”The city of London, and all of the UK has supported WWE thru thick and thin. I try to minimize using the word “deserve” so I will use more appropriate terms. I’ve said it before and stand by it. In my mind London has EARNED a chance to host WrestleMania. I won’t get to compete when it happens but I will BE THERE as a fan for sure!”
The excitement around London potentially hosting WrestleMania goes beyond Mayor Khan’s comments. WrestleMania 41 is already scheduled for Las Vegas, with future editions also set for Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Fans are eagerly anticipating when London might be chosen as the site for a WrestleMania event, as many would be thrilled to see it become a reality.
