Adam Cole Drops Cryptic Message Targeting MJF During AEW Hiatus

Adam Cole’s ankle injury during AEW Grand Slam last year, which resulted in fractures in three different places, has greatly disrupted his wrestling plans. It still isn’t clear when he will return but he took the time to send a cryptic message to MJF during his absence.

Despite his absence, Cole has made sporadic TV appearances. He was involved in a major heel turn against MJF at AEW World’s End in December, leading to the creation of The Undisputed Kingdom with Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Roderick Strong, and Wardlow.

Cole’s last TV appearance was at AEW Double or Nothing in May, where he delivered an in-ring promo that led to MJF’s return from his own injury. MJF attacked Cole during this appearance. Cole’s status and future rivalry with MJF remain uncertain, especially after MJF’s heel turn a month later.

Recently, Cole took cryptic message and a photo from his days teaming with MJF to Twitter, and he sent a cryptic message to the Salt of the Earth, seemingly making it clear their feud is far from over.

“Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life.”

We have also reported that Adam Cole’s in-ring return faced setback due to the complexity of his injury. We will have to wait and see what will become of Adam Cole in the end, as it will still be a while until his return.
