Meiko Satomura, the renowned Japanese professional wrestler, signed with WWE in 2021. After a very long hiatus from WWE, she made her in-ring return for the company at a WWE live event in Japan.

Meiko Satomura held the NXT UK Women’s Championship and showcased her skill against top competitors in the NXT women’s division. Her last appearance was at NXT Roadblock in March 2023, where Roxanne Perez beat her.

It was then confirmed that Satomura would be making appearances for the live events in Japan, as she would be appearing at the events on July 25th in Osaka at the Edion Arena, and July 26th and 27th in Ryoguko Arena in Tokyo.

During the Osaka WWE live event, Meiko Satomura made her in-ring return to WWE, as she teamed up with Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill and Bayley to square off against Damage CTRL and Tiffany Stratton.
