WWE NXT Superstar Snubbed By WWE 2K24 Fires Back After Getting Dragged on Pat McAfee Show

WWE 2K24 has received some good responses since the game dropped. DLC content is still coming out, but the next set on July 31 will include only Pat McAfee and his boys. This idea is not a winner with some people, especially for those who were left out of the game.

WWE NXT star Karmen Petrovic has responded to recent controversial comments about WWE 2K24 made on the Pat McAfee Show. She is of the mindset that pro wrestling fans may want to play as actual Superstars in the game, and not Pat McAfee and his co-hosts.

The Pat McAfee Pack will feature WWE RAW announcer Pat McAfee as a playable character in the game. He isn’t coming alone, as his co-hosts on his show are coming along for the ride. AJ Hawk, Boston Conner, Darius Butler, and Ty Schmitt are also appearing in the game, all branded with the Pat McAfee Show.

Some fans have criticized this pack, questioning why these Pat McAfee Show personalities are included over other WWE stars. This is the only DLC package like this, as all of the other ones feature actual Superstars. Still, some fans have questions about how this pack made it in the lineup.

Ty Schmitt fueled the controversy by stating that fans just want “some of these other losers no one’s ever heard of” in the game. He claimed that nobody wants to play as the wrestlers who aren’t included, and added that he’s not upset about the criticism the DLC pack is receiving.

WWE NXT Superstar Karmen Petrovic heard these comments, and she had to agree. She posted on Twitter in order to throw in her two cents.

“God forbid fans want to play with wrestlers in a wrestling game 😉 & put some respect on WWE NXT”

Fans will have to wait a bit longer to get their next set of DLC content for the game. The next download pack of characters for WWE 2K24, DLC 4: Global Superstars Pack, will be released on September 18. This update will feature Jade Cargill, Nia Jax, Michelle McCool, Carlito, Kairi Sane, Lyra Valkyria, and Dragon Lee.

The final announced DLC pack for WWE 2K24 is the WCW Pack, scheduled for release on November 13. This pack will feature iconic wrestling legends including Diamond Dallas Page, Iron Sheik, Mr. Perfect, Great Muta, and Lex Luger.

We will have to see how things pan out for the guys on the Pat McAfee Show in WWE 2K24. They are very happy about their placement in the game, even if they may not be receiving a glowing recommendation from everyone.
