TNA Believes WWE Has Benefited More from Current Partnership

TNA Wrestling and WWE, which have a history of working together, restarted their partnership in May when Jordynne Grace appeared on NXT a couple of months ago. This led to more crossover appearances between stars from both companies. However, TNA feels that WWE has benefited more from this renewed partnership.

The WWE and TNA partnership is still making headlines, and for good reason. The two promotions regularly swap talent, with stars like Tatum Paxley, The Rascalz, Joe Hendry and No Catch Quarter Crew appearing on each other’s shows.

Ever since WWE and TNA Wrestling began their collaboration, there were many fans who wondered whether TNA would actually get any proper benefit from the partnership whatsoever.

While speaking during the Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about how much WWE and TNA were getting benefited from the partnership. Sapp mentioned that while TNA Wrestling feels WWE has reaped greater benefits, they have still gained something from the partnership. He pointed out that securing AJ Styles for a project would be a big deal for TNA.

“They definitely feel like WWE has benefited more, but they have benefited a little bit. If they can get AJ Styles on something, that would be a big one.”

AJ Styles has also made it clear he is open to returning to TNA as part of the ongoing partnership with WWE. On the other hand, Joe Hendry is also getting increased focus on NXT television, so TNA is certainly getting more exposure as well. Regardless, we’ll have to see if TNA will see an increase in viewership thanks to their longing partnership with WWE eventually.
