WWE has a lot going on right now, with SummerSlam coming up on August 3 in Cleveland, but they are also making it to Japan for a tour. That has given some Superstars a bit of an extra break.

WWE’s next tour in Japan is set for July 25, 2024, through July 27, 2024. WWE is returning to Japan this summer after a 5-year hiatus! Since their first visit in 1994, WWE has hosted numerous live events. Some Superstars aren’t booked for that tour, so they’re getting a nice break.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that several members of the locker room are getting an extended break if they aren’t booked to make the trip to Japan.

“Several talent not booked for the Japan tour have an extended break before SummerSlam weekend”

The WWE SuperShow Summer Tour in Japan over the next few days includes Cody Rhodes vs. AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Meiko Satomura vs. Damage CTRL.

The card is also set to feature GUNTHER vs. Rey Mysterio and Kevin Owens and LA Knight vs. Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa. So those Superstars will not get any extra break, but others will benefit from not having to make that trip this time around.
