Possible Spoiler on MJF’s Opponent for AEW Wrestle Dynasty

MJF is truly the scumbag of AEW and will try to get out of a match whenever possible. With that said, it’s evident he will eventually compete at Wrestle Dynasty next year and now we have a possible spoiler on his opponent for the show.

During the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view, it was officially announced that brand new special event, titled ‘AEW Wrestle Dynasty’ will take place on January 5 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan and will see other promotions like NJPW, CMLL, Stardom, and ROH be a part of the event.

For the past couple of weeks now, NJPW star Gabe Kidd has made it his mission to go after MJF at every turn. In fact, he even recently claimed that the AEW International Champion could never touch him in the ring.

While speaking on The Wrestling Classic podcast, MJF mentioned that he has never been to Japan and if he does go, it would be because his boss compels him to appear at an indie show on January 5th. MJF then directly mentioned Gabe Kidd and addressed Kidd going after him lately, stating that a match with him might happen in the future, notably at Wrestle Dynasty.

“I’ve never been to Japan. If I do go to Japan, it’s going to be because my boss is going to force me to do that indie show on January 5th. I think they’re calling it something Dynasty; I can’t remember the name. There was this little, you know, chubby kid—I think his name is Gabe. Is it Gabe? CDD Gabe? Kid Gabe? Gabe Kid? That’s the one, that’s the one, yeah, sorry. And, you know, he was talking smack. So, who knows, maybe that will go down at some point.”

We will have to wait and see whether The Salt of the Earth will end up squaring off against Gabe Kidd at AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th, 2024, as it would be an epic battle between two top heels in the business and fans would more than love to see it happen.
