MJF strengthened his reputation as AEW’s top heel with a recent incident on Dynamite. Last week, he was unexpectedly punched by a kid, and now MJF is claiming that the child was pointing a gun at him.
On the 250th episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF and Will Ospreay put on a spectacular match that had the crowd excited. MJF used various moves to take control, and the fight was fast-paced from start to finish.
Despite a shoulder injury, Ospreay kept fighting hard, earning “Fight Forever” chants from the fans. The action got heated outside the ring as MJF’s antics annoyed the crowd. Things took a surprising turn when a young fan hit MJF while Ospreay had him completely restrained and MJF flipped the bird at the kid for good measure.
The little girl would then get interviewed by ABC7 News, where it was revealed that Will Ospreay gave her a t-shirt after what she did to MJF. Obviously, MJF is clearly holding a grudge against the little girl now.
While speaking on The Wrestling Classic podcast, MJF was asked about the little girl having an interview after punching him. MJF called the girl a terrorist and then went into detail about his match with Will Ospreay.
MJF stated that while he chased Will Ospreay out of the ring, the little girl pulled out a gun and aimed it at MJF before hitting him in the chest repeatedly. Despite the strikes, MJF didn’t feel them due to his physical build. When the woman stopped and put the gun away, MJF flipped her off in what he felt was a justified response.
“She’s a terrorist; let’s talk about it. I think we need to talk about this immediately. So here’s the deal: I’m wrestling a match, and I think we’re about three minutes in. I’m just about to beat Will in a matter of seconds, and because he’s scared of me, he hops over the guardrail and tries to leave the arena. Wild stuff, right? I couldn’t believe it. To protect the integrity of our sport, I chased after this guy. I care about our company, so I needed to catch up with him to continue the match.
When I finally got a hold of him, I was beating him up with ease in front of the crowd, which was pretty hostile. Then, out of nowhere, a girl pulls a gun out. I don’t know if you can see the gun when you watch the match back, but she had me at gunpoint and then proceeded to strike me in the chest repeatedly.
I didn’t feel any of the strikes because I’m jacked—I have a chest the size of a Dodge Ram truck. She eventually stopped, put the gun away, and even though I knew she had the gun on her, I wasn’t fearing for my life at that point. You have to stand up to bullies no matter what, so I flipped her off, rightfully so in my opinion, as I think anyone else would.”
At this point, Will Ospreay took the opportunity to sneak attack MJF from behind. MJF managed to stop Ospreay, threw him into the ring, and landed a solid punch, ending the confrontation. MJF expressed frustration over the woman’s appearance on the news, criticizing it as a disgrace and a misuse of media coverage.
”Then Ospreay sneak-attacked me from behind while I was trying to react to this vicious terrorist. Luckily, I stopped him, threw him in the ring, and gave him a great right-hand punch, and that was all she wrote.
The fact that she’s on the news is kind of a disgrace. Why would you give such a violent person a platform like that? It’s horrible. Little girls like that remind me why abortion is necessary.”
MJF even recently made it clear he hated how fans cheered for the girl while she attacked him. Regardless, MJF won the match and became the AEW International Champion, so he is more focused on that now than the little girl.
