TNA Wrestling has been around for a long time and many fans respect the company for lasting as long as it has, considering just how many times it has undergone changes over the years. Interestingly enough, Jeff Jarrett had addressed potentially asking about buying TNA.
Jeff Jarrett co-founded TNA in 2002 and played a significant role in its early development. After leaving the company in 2014, he returned in 2015. Alongside TNA, Jarrett also founded Global Force Wrestling. He joined AEW in 2022 as the Director of Business Development. In February 2024, TNA underwent a leadership change, with Scott D’Amore being replaced by Anthony Cicione.
While speaking on the My World with Jeff Jarrett podcast, Jeff Jarrett addressed fan questions and discussed the possibility of acquiring TNA if it were ever for sale. He expressed interest in such an opportunity, noting that the key factors would be the company’s valuation and finding a buyer who agrees with that valuation. Jarrett mentioned that if Conrad Thompson wanted to pursue the deal, he would be open to it.
“Like anything, anything in the wrestling business, I’m interested in that, and what are they valued at? People get into these valuations, and I don’t care what it is. You can come up with all the valuations you want in the world, you gotta find a buyer, period, and then that buyer has to agree with that evaluation. Other than that, it’s just great fodder, if you will. I’m not discounting tax situations and all that kind of stuff, but certainly, I’d take a look at anything, and if Conrad says, ‘Let’s do it,’ I’d say, ‘Let’s do it,’ [laughs].”
At the moment, WWE and TNA Wrestling are part of an ongoing partnership, but anything could happen in the world of professional wrestling, so we’ll have to see if Jeff Jarrett ends up purchasing TNA one day.
