Jack Perry’s transition to NJPW initially impressed fans with his performances under the persona “Scapegoat.” Since moving to AEW, Perry’s character has undergone further development and changes. With that said, Perry has now been accused of being rewarded for bad behavior.

Since AEW started, Darby Allin and Jack Perry have been recognized as two of the promotion’s four pillars. While they have followed different paths to their current roles, both are central to the AEW vs. Elite match at AEW Blood & Guts this week on Dynamite.

While speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Darby Allin revealed his thoughts on Jack Perry’s role, noting that Perry’s current success reflects his real personality. Allin describes Perry’s personality as entitled and problematic and he accused Perry of being rewarded for bad behavior.

It’s pretty cool to see what Jack is doing now. Everyone always says a pro wrestler is at their best when they’re themselves turned up to ten. In real life, he’s an idiot. He’s entitled. So he’s getting to be his real self. I feel like he’s been rewarded for bad behavior. I don’t care for him.”

Allin has also challenged Perry to match for the AEW TNT Championship at AEW All In. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Darby Allin will get to exact some revenge on Jack Perry during the Blood and Guts match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, as fans are looking forward to seeing a new level of violence from the match.
