AEW Kept Kamille’s 7/24 Dynamite Debut Quiet Internally

AEW presented their annual Blood & Guts event tonight as part of the July 24 episode of Dynamite. The evening was packed with pro wrestling action and marked the official debut of Kamille as an AEW talent.

Despite WWE’s interest in Kamille, the former NWA Women’s Champion chose to join AEW. She has been under contract with Tony Khan’s company for several months, with AEW finally deciding to introduce her this week.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that Kamille’s debut was kept very quiet. She has been under AEW contract and receiving payment since February. She was seen backstage at AEW Dynamite in January, which led to contract discussions and her subsequent signing.

Kamille made her debut on AEW Dynamite this week by attacking Britt Baker while Mercedes Mone watched. It remains to be seen what this means for the future, but it appears Kamille might be Mercedes’ new enforcer.
