MJF is truly living up to his reputation as the biggest scumbag in AEW, which led to an unexpected altercation during last week’s Dynamite when a kid punched him. In a heartwarming twist, Will Ospreay gave a special gift to the child who stood up to MJF.
During the 250th episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF faced off against Will Ospreay in an action-packed match that thrilled the crowd. MJF showcased his skills by using various holds to wear down Ospreay, while both wrestlers paid homage to wrestling legends—MJF mimicking Rick Rude and Ospreay channeling Ric Flair.
Despite suffering a shoulder injury, Ospreay continued fighting, earning chants of “Fight Forever” from the audience. The match extended outside the ring, and MJF’s antics drew disapproval from the crowd. At one point, MJF’s interaction with a child in the audience escalated, leading to the kid hitting him while Ospreay had him restrained.
ABC7 News held an interview with the little girl, Mia, and her father to talk about the memorable moment on Dynamite. Mia’s father revealed that Will Ospreay gave her one of his t-shirts.
“Will Ospreay, the hero at that time, as you can see, he gave her one of his shirts and she’s wearing it,” her father shared.
MJF ultimately won the match after hitting Ospreay with the Dynamite Diamond Ring to become the new AEW International Champion. Despite the outcome, little Mia made a memory that will last a lifetime, and that’s what truly matters.
As the wrestling world continues to tell stories of heroes and villains, it’s the real, unscripted moments like these that resonate most with fans, young and old alike.
