Skye Blue’s advancement in AEW has been impressive, with notable development over recent years. Unfortunately, her momentum has been halted by an injury. She has now spoken out for the first time since the setback.

During the July 20th episode of AEW Collision, the much-anticipated singles match between Hikaru Shida and Skye Blue took a very unfortunate turn that no one could have expected.

Hikaru Shida’s spectacular suicide dive inadvertently led to Skye Blue taking a hard fall, landing awkwardly on her leg and hip. Officials rushed to her side, and the match was promptly stopped. After examining Skye, it was determined she was unable to continue due to an ankle injury, and Hikaru Shida was awarded the victory.

Right after that, Skye Blue was spotted wearing a leg cast. The Skye Blue took to her Instagram and broke her silence on the matter, as she vowed to fans that she would come back.

”I’ll be back”

We have also reported the internal mindset of AEW after her injury. Footage of the aftermath of Skye Blue’s injury immediately after the match was also revealed and fan remain concerned about her.

Nonetheless, we’ll need to wait and see how severe the ankle injury is and whether it will require Skye Blue to take a significant amount of time away from the ring.
