WWE NXT is set to present its special two-week event, The Great American Bash, beginning next week on Syfy, with an exciting line-up announced on the July 23rd edition of WWE NXT.

Following the end of a sit-down interview with Thea Hail on tonight’s show, it was announced that she would be getting her one-on-one NXT Women’s Championship match next week against the dominant titleholder, Roxanne Perez.

Elsewhere in the women’s division, Meta-Four’s Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend scored a huge victory over Karmen Petrovic and Sol Ruca in tag team action. Following their win, they challenged current WWE Women’s tag team champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn for their titles. The champions accepted the challenge on social media, and the match was announced for next week.

Also, The Great American Bash Week 1 will also see an explosive bout for the NXT Heritage Cup championship, as the current holder, Tony D’Angelo, will defend his prized possession against Tavion Heights.

Finally, WWE NXT Universe will be graced with the presence of popular TNA star Joe Hendry next week, who will be hosting his first live in-ring concert in WWE, much to the delight of the fans who believe in him.
