Ricky Starks has been a significant figure in AEW since 2020, but he has notably been absent from television since late March. A number of fans are eager for him to join WWE, and now Booker T has also expressed the view that Starks would be an excellent addition to WWE.

On the March 30 episode of AEW Collision, Ricky Starks appeared to sustain an injury during a tag team title tournament match where he and Big Bill faced off against Top Flight. This match ended up being his last appearance on AEW television, and he has been absent since then for reasons that remain unclear.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about Ricky Starks, stating that he believes Starks fits in perfectly with WWE. He pointed out Starks’ impressive look, swagger, and the strong reputation he has built before even arriving. Booker T noted that Starks, like Ethan Page, has a strong sense of self-belief.

Although many compare Starks to The Rock, Booker T himself does not see the resemblance, though he acknowledges that people often make that comparison due to Starks’ promo style, attire, and perhaps his overall look.

“I think he fits in perfectly. I mean, I really do. I think he’s got that look, he’s got the swagger. His name has gotten there before he did, so that right there said a whole lot about Ricky Starks. The guy believes in himself. That’s one thing I could say, almost like about Ethan Page. Ricky Starks — this kid. He has something, I don’t know what it is. People are always comparing him to The Rock. Me personally, I don’t see that. I don’t see that. But his promo style, his dress perhaps, maybe look, I don’t know. But people do compare him a lot to The Rock.”

We have also reported on the likelihood of Ricky Starks joining WWE while he remains absent from WWE, as he isn’t in any position to do that right now. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what will become of Ricky Starks in the end, as nothing seems certain for him.
