MVP, who is known for his significant stints with WWE, has been absent from WWE television for some time. Rumors have circulated about his potential departure from the company this year, and it has now been confirmed that his contract is set to expire soon.

Recent reports have indicated that MVP, along with Bobby Lashley and Tamina, has been removed from WWE’s internal roster. In response to these rumors, MVP has stated that he is very content with his life at the moment.

We had also reported Bobby Lashley and MVP’s internal status within WWE, as both of them are currently listed in the internal roster, contrary to rumors that they have been removed.

PWInsider reports that MVP’s current WWE contract is set to expire in mid-August, and there have been no significant discussions about a new deal so far. While there was some talk of potentially using him as a producer or announcer, these ideas did not materialize, despite some tryouts. Currently, WWE still lists MVP under the Miscellaneous section of their internal talent roster.

Rumors also suggested that The Hurt Business could be making comeback, likely in AEW alongside Shelton Benjamin. With less than a month left for MVP’s WWE contract to expire, all signs point toward him leaving WWE but anything is possible in the pro wrestling business.
