Opening Segment for July 22 WWE RAW Unveiled

WWE RAW is set to take place at the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI tonight, and we will provide full coverage of the show. As plans are underway, we have learned which match will kick off tonight’s episode. We already reported WWE’s plan for the July 22 RAW main event match.

Ringside News has learned that GUNTHER will kick off this week’s episode of WWE RAW. The Ring General is expected to intensify his rivalry with Damian Priest as he prepares for his World Heavyweight Title match at SummerSlam.

In Cleveland on August 3, Damian Priest will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against GUNTHER. With this week’s RAW and next week’s go-home episode, the leader of Imperium will likely have plenty to say.

GUNTHER made history as WWE Intercontinental Champion, losing his title to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40. He then fulfilled his promise by winning the 2024 King of the Ring tournament, securing his title shot at SummerSlam. Damian Priest faces a tough challenge in Cleveland.
