The July 22nd edition of Monday Night RAW was a night full of twists, turns and surprising moments on the road to WWE SummerSlam, setting the tone for the go-home edition of RAW next week.

Right before GUNTHER’s all-out brawl with Damian Priest broke out, he labelled him and his entire Judgment Day faction as ‘street trash.’ This led to Finn Balor requesting a match against The Ring General next week on RAW, which was made official by Adam Pearce.

In the women’s division, a huge six-woman tag team match was announced as the team of Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance will collide against Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler.

After Xavier Woods had weeks of multiple run-ins with Karrion Kross, who also took out his partner, Kofi Kingston and defeated him and his cohorts in a six-man tag team match on RAW this week, Woods will now challenge Kross one-on-one next week on the red brand.

Finally, after the match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre was made official for SummerSlam, with Seth Rollins announced as the Special Guest Referee, McIntyre and Punk would get a preview as they come face-to-face in a ‘Referee Instructions’ segment with Rollins.
