The 2024 WWE Money in the Bank event in Toronto, Canada saw John Cena announce his impending retirement as a professional wrestler. There’s lots of excitement for all the opponents he will be facing as part of his tour and ahead of the tour, Cena dropped a post about passing the torch.

During his promo, the former WWE Champion announced his plans to be present when RAW moves to Netflix. He also revealed that the Royal Rumble, the Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 2025 will be his final wrestling appearances.

Unlike other wrestlers who have had retirement matches, John Cena will have an entire tour featuring 100 dates in 2025 and he will end his in-ring career for good in December 2025.

While speculation about his opponents remains rampant, the Leader of Cenation took to his Instagram and uploaded a cryptic post about passing the torch ahead of his retirement tour, but obviously he didn’t disclose who he would pass the torch to.
