Bobby Lashley has been a prime fixture for WWE’s television programming since his return to the company in 2018. However, recent developments have indicated that his time with the global juggernaut might be coming to an end.

It was earlier reported that Lashley’s WWE contract is set to expire within the next month or so, possibly even weeks and being removed from WWE’s internal roster listing.

According to PWInsider, WWE did extend a contract offer to The Almighty, but it wasn’t compelling enough for him to immediately accept. Bobby Lashley is reportedly considering exploring his market value outside WWE. As of now, the exact expiration date of his current deal was unconfirmed by them.

Furthermore, unlike earlier reports, Lashley is still internally listed on the SmackDown roster. His last match took place on May 5, 2024, when he defeated Santos Escobar at a WWE live event.

This year, Bobby Lashley has wrestled only five televised matches, including a victory at WrestleMania 40 in April. Some reports also suggest that a return to fighting “isn’t out of the realm of possibility,” opening up potential opportunities with various MMA promotions that might offer substantial payouts.

With Lashley reportedly not accepting WWE’s offer immediately and wishing to explore his value in the wrestling market, we will have to wait and see what his next move is going to be. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we continue to follow up on this story.
