Bobby Lashley suffered an injury during training earlier this year and has been absent ever since and even MVP has been away from WWE television for a very long time. During their absence, rumors have run rampant that both of them are going to leave WWE soon and now we have confirmation on their internal status in WWE amid such rumors.

As previously reported, Bobby Lashley’s WWE contract is set to expire within the next few weeks and reports also suggested that he was removed from the internal roster and that he would leave WWE. Rumors also suggest MVP would do the same thing as it was claimed he was also removed from the WWE internal roster.

However, PWInsider reports that neither Lashley nor MVP has been released from the company. As of 8:30 AM this morning, they are still listed on WWE’s internal talent roster. While it is expected that they will depart when their contracts expire, a source noted that until contracts officially end, changes are always possible.

Last month, MVP made it clear on social media that Triple H had turned down the idea of reforming The Hurt Business. If and when their contracts do expire, both Lashley and MVP will be free to perform or sign with any organization they choose.

Rumors also suggested that The Hurt Business could be making comeback, potentially in AEW, should Lashley and MVP leave WWE. Only time will tell whether MVP and Lashley will part ways with the company, as anything is possible in pro wrestling.
