Ava is a fourth-generation Superstar in WWE and serves as the General Manager of NXT. She appears on-screen every Tuesday night, sometimes multiple times per episode. Although she has earned her spot through her performance skills, her position is also influenced by the fact that her father is The Rock.
The Rock’s ex-wife, Dany Garcia, recently sent an emotional message to their daughter, Ava, on social media. The 22-year-old is representing her family well as NXT General Manager.
The Rock and Dany Garcia married in 1997 and had their first child, Ava, in 2001. They separated in May 2008. Garcia recently posted a throwback photo on her Instagram Stories, highlighting her and Ava’s current achievements. She captioned it, “Future owner of the @ufl [with] the future GM of @wwenxt. GSTQ @avawwe.”
In 2020, Ava began training at the WWE Performance Center to pursue a career in professional wrestling. She joined the company’s developmental brand in 2022 as a member of Joe Gacy’s Schism. After the stable disbanded in 2023, she became the on-screen assistant of Shawn Michaels. In January 2024, she was promoted to General Manager of NXT.
We’ll see what happens as Ava’s WWE career continues. She was once a member of The Schism, but that faction disbanded, and Joe Gacy is now part of the Wyatt Six faction on the main roster. Ava is making her own way and enjoying her time in WWE.
Ava has dealt with a few injuries, including a knee issue that sidelined her for a while. Her last match was on August 22, 2023, where Ivy Nile defeated her at the WWE NXT Heatwave special. Although she may be staying out of the ring for now, she remains a prominent on-screen presence.
