Skye Blue Seen with Leg Cast After Suffering Injury During 7/20 AEW Collision

Skye Blue’s progress in AEW has been remarkable, showcasing significant growth over the past few years. Sadly, her momentum has been interrupted by an injury, and she has now been spotted wearing a leg cast following AEW Collision this week.

During the July 20th episode of AEW Collision, the much-anticipated singles match between Hikaru Shida and Skye Blue took a very unfortunate turn that no one could have expected.

Hikaru Shida’s impressive suicide dive resulted in Skye Blue suffering an unfortunate fall, landing awkwardly on her leg and hip. Ringside officials rushed to her aid, and the match was immediately stopped. After assessing Skye, it was determined she couldn’t continue due to an ankle injury. As a result, Hikaru Shida was awarded the victory.

Skye Blue’s boyfriend Kyle Fletcher took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of Skye Blue safely back at her home, as she was seen wearing a leg cast. Fletcher made it clear he would also take care of her in the meantime.

Footage of the aftermath of Skye Blue’s injury immediately after the match was also revealed. Nonetheless, we’ll need to wait and see how severe the ankle injury is and whether it will require Skye Blue to take a significant amount of time away from the ring.
