The Insane Clown Posse, comprised of Shaggy 2 Dope & Violent J, have been a part of pro wrestling for quite a few years. They were a big deal back in the 1990s, but that doesn’t mean the duo have become irrelevant right now and it appears the duo have received support for a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

The Insane Clown Posse have long been intertwined with professional wrestling, from their notable WWE appearances during the Attitude Era to the independent wrestling events they host at their annual Gathering festival.

While speaking on his Wise Choices podcast, Eric Bischoff argued that the Insane Clown Posse’s contributions to the wrestling world merit a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. Bischoff suggested initiating a petition to induct the Insane Clown Posse, acknowledging that while the process might be slow, their strong cult following could help build momentum for the cause.

“I suggest … we start a petition — we want Insane Close Posse in the WWE Hall of Fame,” Bischoff said. “This is not an effort that’s gonna happen quick, but we can gain momentum because I’ve got a hell of a cult following to this day.”

Easy E spoke highly of the duo, describing them as enjoyable to be around and praising their impact on WCW. Although he didn’t work directly with them, Bischoff appreciated their eccentricity and the unique edge they brought to WCW’s Nitro.

“They’re bat-s**t crazy, which is the part I love the most. I didn’t direct them [in WCW], I didn’t produce them. Kevin Sullivan and his team did. … But I enjoyed being around them and I appreciated what they contributed. They brought an edge to our product. It was something wacky, cool, and different at the time, and that’s what ‘Nitro’ was all about.”

The Insane Clown Posse’s involvement with WCW began in 1999, following brief stints in ECW and WWE. Their influence extended further as they appeared in TNA and founded their own promotion, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, so only time will tell whether the duo will get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame one day, as anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling.
