Grayson Waller is rapidly becoming one of WWE’s most electrifying superstars today, known for his bold remarks and outrageous character. That is exactly why he threatened to slap sense into Terence Crawford after the July 19th edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
On the July 19 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes took to the ring to address the recent attack and preview his SummerSlam opponent. Midway through his address, Rhodes was interrupted by A-Town Down Under. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller ambushed him, tossing him out of the ring.
During the commotion, renowned boxer Terence Crawford who was in attendance, handed Rhodes a steel chair. Rhodes then re-entered the ring and fought off his attackers, emerging victorious.
Grayson Waller took to Twitter today and addressed Terence Crawford helping out Cody Rhodes. Grayson Waller expressed his frustration with athletes trying to enter the wrestling world, stating that he’s growing tired of them pretending to belong. He specifically addressed Terence Crawford, warning him that if Crawford ever steps into a WWE arena again, Waller will be there to set things straight.
”Starting to get bored of these ‘athletes’ pretending they belong in our world. Just a heads up @terencecrawford – if you ever step foot in a WWE arena again, I will be there to slap some sense into you”
We have also reported on Terence Crawford’s involvement during the July 26th edition of Friday Night SmackDown which was taped last week. Regardless, Waller truly has disdain for most athletes, and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
