AEW has been teasing the debut of a new character, Hologram, who made his first appearance on the July 20 episode of AEW Collision. Now, Fuego Del Sol has responded to fans who claimed he was Hologram.
Hologram’s true identity was unveiled as former AAA star Aramis. The masked luchador made a striking entrance to the ring, donning a bright green vest, surrounded by blue lights and plenty of smoke, delighting the 1,200 fans with a captivating light show. His opponent for the night was Gringo Loco, offering Hologram a prime opportunity to showcase his skills.
Afterwards, during the ROH television tapings, former AEW star Fuego Del Sol made his return to the company. Del Sol, Komander and Top Flight (Action Andretti, Dante Martin & Darius Martin) defeated Commoroto, Anthony Henry & Iron Savages (Jacked Jameson, Boulder & Bronson).
Following his surprise return, Fuego Del Sol took to Twitter and addressed fans mistaking him for Hologram, clarifying that he is not the same as Hologram, despite some fans tagging him in reference to the new wrestler. He praised Hologram’s debut and expressed admiration for Gringo Loco, acknowledging him as one of the best bases in the wrestling world. Fuego Del Sol also reassured fans that he will be returning to TV soon.
”A bunch of people have tagged me, some joking and some serious, I am not Hologram. His debut was great, I’m a fan of his, also shoutout to Gringo Loco who’s the best base in the world. Not all masked guys look alike. We’ll be back on TV soon enough though!”
We will have to wait and see whether there will come a time that Hologram and Fuego Del Sol will end up facing each other on AEW television, as fans might love to see that happen. In the meantime, Del Sol simply wanted to make it clear they are not the same person.
